REMEMBERING THE VICTIMS OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

2,977 — 246 passengers on four commercial airliners, 2,606 in the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City including 411 emergency responders, and 125 servicemen and women at the Pentagon.

It was a morning I’ll never forget, from the phone call from my watch-team – “Hey Ops… You better turn on your TV”  And only moments later after switching on the tube, watching that second plane spiral down into the WTC.  Then we knew for sure the first was no terrible accident.

Please take a minute today to remember the victims of 9/11, their families, and then be grateful for the service men and women who are still out there, standing the watch.  God bless America.
